Weekdays are supposedly very busy and I don’t get enough time to cook a proper breakfast, even though I get up very early in the morning. But then go for morning walk and my usual fitness regime that might involve hitting the gym or cooling off in the swimming pool, depending on how weather and mood look like. And all this leads to a very quick breakfast which most of the time consists of some yogurt based smoothie and two soft boiled eggs sprinkled with some crushed black pepper. And I don’t mind having the same kind of breakfast for weeks. It just that I love my convenience over the finickiness about the food choices. As they beggers are not choosers. You may not believe that seeing my blog posts and Instagram feed, but this is 100 percent true. And I have devised ways to try new smoothie flavors so that I don’t end up boring myself with same stuff everyday morning. I prefer to use more and more seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables. And I also play between yogurt, nut milk and sometimes oats milk. So this much kind of rotation with flavors keeps my palate satisfied for some time. These strawberry banana smoothie bowls are my favorite smoothie these days because firstly, these are made with fresh seasonal strawberries, which may not last long as the temperature has started rising quite early this year. And secondly, these have got frozen fruits in it, which makes them perfect for this slightly warmer weather. It actually feels like having a freshly churned strawberry ice cream. How good is that I can eat a naturally sweetened frozen dessert in the breakfast. And the sunshine in the bowl makes the morning so good!
