How easy it gets, when you’ve got the breakfast ready in a jiffy on a weekday. And that too, when all you need to do is to blend in all the ingredients together in a mighty liquidiser. Just bottle it up in a nice swanky way, and you are all sorted for a grab and go meal to work. Yes, I am talking about the nutritious and power packed smoothies which definitely are the best thing that could happen early in the morning. Because possibilities are endless. My advise is – just go with the season and you’ll have the best of the things. This is what I did when I had loads of fresh juicy seasonal pears in my fridge. I made this delicious pear almond cobbler, ate them raw in salads and then I made some really wholesome healthy smoothie; the pear banana ginger smoothie. A dash of fragrant cinnamon powder to sprinkle with and it happens to be the best drink for fall season. Ginger did it’s magic too. I so love ginger. It’s sharp taste is something I have grown up with. My mother uses a lot of fresh ginger in her meals and that is where the liking comes from. It makes for the perfect pairing. And the good thing about that it’s all natural and didn’t even require any sweetener for that matter. So in totality, it is quick, wholesome and healthy.
